Working with children in Spain requires that you obtain a document called “DELITOS SEXUALES.” This document serves that you have no background or convictions of you working with children in Spain. Luckily this document is obtainable both in person by cita previa (appointment) or by online using the CL@VE portal. This document will have to be shared with your Language Assistance Program and your school for you to work with children. Please note that obtaining this document is free but can take some time for you to obtain it. There will be a deadline for submitting it to your school and program.
It is that time of year where you are looking to renew your TIE and perhaps solicit and obtain a Regreso. Thankfully, the process is easier than you think. It requires some organization, copies of documents, payment of tasas, and some paperwork that only your school can supply you at the end of the school year,
Follow the steps below to complete the TIE RENEWAL and check back in the coming days for a new post regarding the Autorización de regreso.
The Auxiliar program has been in use with the Community of Madrid for several years. Upon this year Auxiliares were able to work for their school and placement for a maximum of 2 years. Through success of the program the Ministry has granted an additional year for the max of 3 years. In order to be part of this program for the 3rd and final year in the Community of Madrid it was necessary to complete a course in which you had to familiarize yourself with the Auxiliar Program and its purpose.
The Final Project consisted of completing the MOOC Course and making an online platform that showcased what you learned and executed as an Auxiliar de Conversacion.
Check out my final platform and what was expected as someone in my position. Included are sample lessons and projects that I completed with my students.
Renewing through profex?
Start with this. It explains how to make your account and upload your initial information: http://www.mecd.gob.es/…/auxiliar…/PROFEX_MANUAL_2017-18.pdf
Then, there's a checklist on the website you have to physically check and mail in with the things you uploaded printed out.
Last, if you wanna stay at your school, have them do their part online, but there's also a form you give them to fill out and you upload in the "documentos anexos" part.
If you follow that link, it goes step by step and it's actually not a bad process at all. You just need to fill out your info and upload basically everything you already have from CIEE
