Semana Santa

Exploring Northern Spain has evoked my senses with an abundance of appreciation for this beautiful country. My nose full of sweet aromas of wine emitting from oak barrels in Logroño. My eyes refocusing and gazing at steel, concrete works of art with the Guggenheim in Bilbao. My skin damp with ocean sea waters of coastal beaches in Gijón. My tongue and palette full of rich, savory flavors of Asturias. My ears are filled with new words and laughter from friends.
As I continue to experience my home away from home I find myself with a deep admiration of what life can be if you chose to stop and let your senses take control.
